Exec Will Expand and Oversee Global Ad Sales Team
LOS ANGELES, CA – July 11, 2011 – Machinima, the number one video entertainment brand for gamers around the world, today announced that Jay Sampson will join its ranks as Executive Vice President, Global Ad Sales and Trade Marketing. In this newly created role, he will look to scale the company’s advertising sales team around the world, as well as expand and deepen the company’s partnerships with global brands and ad agencies. Sampson was formerly the General Manger of Microsoft Advertising’s Emerging Media Sales and U.S. Agency Relations organization. The announcement was made by Allen DeBevoise, Machinima’s Chairman and CEO.

A seasoned executive with nearly 20 years of media sales experience, Sampson joined Microsoft Corporation in 1997 as one the first media sales executives for the company and went on to hold a number of positions within the organization.
