LOS ANGELES, CA, April 24, 2015 – Machinima, the first global many2many programming service focused on fandom and gamer culture, announced today that it is expanding its presence in New York City with the hiring of Jessica DeBiase Stevens, an industry veteran who comes to Machinima after stints at AOL and YuMe, and 15 year sales veteran Michael B. Colarossi as Directors, Partner Development. They will report to Chief Revenue Officer Jamie Weissenborn, who made the announcement today.

Stevens comes to Machinima from AOL where she served as Account Director - Video. At AOL, Stevens was responsible for leading multi-screen digital video, content creation and syndication deals for the company’s largest accounts - including AT&T, Discover, Delta, and Miller Coors. She ended her tenure at AOL as a front line seller for Team AT&T, increasing her duties from Video to include AOL Owned & Operated Editorial & Native Sponsorships, and Programmatic Platform Opportunities via AOP and Adap TV.

Prior to AOL, Stevens spent five years as Senior Account Executive at multi-screen digital video network YuMe where she was the top revenue generator each year exceeding revenue goals and growing the book of business significantly. She also served stints at Bonnier Corporation, where she was a Digital Account Executive in the PopSci Media Group, Hearst and Conde Nast.

Stevens received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.

Colarossi comes to Machinima after having spent the last year as Vertical Team Lead for leading video ad tech company Tremor Video. At Tremor, he led a team of three to annual sales of more than $21 million, exceeding goals for 114 percent. Previously, Colarossi was Vice President, Client-Direct Sales Team for Boston-based ad tech company Owner IQ. As the lead for the company’s first ever client-direct sales team, he brought in 10 first-time advertisers including Coca Cola, Garmin, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark, Mars, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, SC Johnson, Unilever and Verizon.

Colarossi also spent nine years at Walmart Digital, rising to the position of Senior Vice President – Sales for While at Walmart, he led a team of 13 people that was responsible for coordinating sponsorships with Fortune 100 CPG brands, increasing revenue by 79% from $14 million to $25 million in one year. He has also worked at Alloy Media & Marketing (now called FrontLine Marketing),, and Unilever USA.

A 1998 graduate of New York University, Colarossi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
