Where did the name Machinima originate?
The word “machinima” is a loose hybrid combination of “machine” and “cinema” and refers to the process of creating real-time animation by manipulating a video game’s engine and assets. From these humble roots, we’ve conceptualized a company that takes gaming to a new level of entertainment.

What is Machinima?
Machinima is the dominant video entertainment network for young males around the world, serving over 2 billion video views per month, and reaching over 210 million uniques monthly. The network features scripted series, original content, weekly and daily shows, official publisher content, and gameplay videos, all aimed at the 13-34 year old male demo.

Where can I watch Machinima's content?
The vast majority of our content lives on YouTube but we've also developed viewing apps for both iOS and Android that allow you to watch our content from the palm of your hand. Also, check out our XBOX app which allows you to stream Machinima's videos much like you would Netflix or Hulu. So, you can pretty much watch us wherever you feel comfortable.

How do you pronounce Machinima?
That depends on who you ask. Some members of the Machinima team prefer to hold on to the pronunciation of the word 'machine' ("muh-sheen-uh-muh") while others give the end of the word away to the influence of the word 'cinema' ("muh-shin-uh-muh").
