In the Xmas issue of OXM this month, they have an article on Halo 3: Recon, including some new screenshots. I can’t really say that a lot of new information is revealed, but just playing with the digital pages of the magazine was pretty cool. You can check out the issue HERE. I’m sharing some screenshots of the article for your viewing pleasure and just because I’m a cool bromosexual like that.
Some Sims games have found their way to merging with others. Uh, I can’t remember any of the top of my head…well yes I can, The Streets of Sim City, which I loved by the way, was able to be merged with a version of Sims City. So basically you could build your car and your city and then drive around in your city. COOOOOOOOOOOOL!
I am just looking forward to the day when we can merge other Sims games like, I dunno, THE SIMS!
You’re hip. I know you are. I read the “Weekly Hip Update” and you’re on the cover. I was hoping there would be a whole lay out about you but that’ll be next issue I’m sure.
Anyway, since you’re so hip I bet you’ve seen the film “Twilight” and are looking for a way to hip up your room. Well you’re in luck. A generous modder has release some “Twilight” posters for you! Go gettem!

Toby learned quickly that removing his arms and transplanting his hands into his shoulders not only made him more efficient but trying to undo his zipper also was more fun. It was, by far, the best idea he’s ever had!
Time for a puzzle. Is the woman in the following picture being tied up, or release?
While that answer is up for debate, the question of whether it is a great picture is not. Its pretty impressive when you have a picture that is worth more than a thousand words. This picture, “Prisoner” by Martina Cullen, is definitely that. I think the color scheme is to die for, or maybe even to be imprisoned for…I mean, in a good way, if that’s possible.
So after you were teased the other day now its time to get teased again! Well, this is more of a preview, so you do get to see a bit more but the theory remains the same. (I don’t know what that means). But without further ado here’s “Bloodlines Preview” by kayexrated:
The gang at Game Over Studios has done it again. Those little rascals! Seems like they got all the time in the world to either create these maps for find them. You know what I have? I have 5 free minutes in the day when I get to try and sh!t, shower and shave.
The map they look at today is Sandtrap. Someone’s created a mass gigantour vehicle, which is a combination of an Elephant and a Hornet. Yes, it can fly. Somehow it defies true physics the powers of David Blane to actually fly. You’ll haz fun with it, I’m sure.

I’m sure you’ve seen him before. He took the world by storm with his home crafted Halo attire and weaponry. You’ve gotta give it to the kid, he’s going to be a great competitor on Project Runway some day. Could it be that paper mache is taking the world by storm? Possibly! How else are you going to recreate the scene from Ace Ventura when Jim Carrey is birthed out the rear of that robot rhino? Paper mache! I only resurrect this poor internet celebrity because I know some of you have never seen it before and the kid needs to remain famous for as long as he can. So, without further ado, I present to you “Halo Kid”!
The weeks just seem to be flying by. We’re in a lull between the Halloween and the Christmas machinimas, which means some of your favorite machinimators really don’t have much going on yet.
In the Machinima.com Community forum, randomjack32 poses an interesting question on how you get your video noticed. The honest answer is that it depends on the quality of the machinima, how social you are, if it relies on a gimmick and you released it in enough time to capitalize on that, etc. In other words, there’s no one specific way to get noticed.
Join the forums of the platform that you filmed it in and be active there. You should avoid putting copyrighted music in, as that will get the video removed from most file-sharing sites.
